Sr DevOps Engineer (Azure DevOps CI/CD Required)

Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD and Infrastructure as code (IaC) is required to be considered for this position.

Job Summary:
As a Sr DevOps Engineer, you will drive the automation, deployment, and optimization of our Windows Server and IIS-based environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD, infrastructure as code (IaC), and cloud-based solutions to enhance operational efficiency and system reliability. You will work closely with members of NexGen’s internal and client teams, including but not limited to subject matter experts, technical leads, and project managers, to ensure customer satisfaction and drive innovative solutions while maintaining security standards. This position is remote.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (as assigned):
- Design, implement, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for Drupal and Power Platform deployments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management for Windows Server and IIS environments.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, security, and scalability.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts, ARM templates, and other IaC tools.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless deployments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and system reliability. Implement best practices for DevOps, security, and cloud governance.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Technical Skills:
- A minimum of 8+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or cloud engineering.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server administration and IIS configuration.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD), pipelines, and repositories.
- Proficiency in PowerShell, YAML, and infrastructure as code.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like AzureMonitor and App Insights.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Azure Functions, or other cloud automation tools.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline.

- The successful candidate will also be able to pass background screening prior to employment.
- US Citizenship, or legal permanent residence, or US work authorization with minimum 3 years of continuous US presence is required due to federal contract requirements.

Compensation: $100,000-$110,000/year (Dependent on Experience)
